Carl Samuel Calabro

Carl Samuel Calabro, 55, of Washington, died on November 10, 2021, in the Washington Hospital. He was born on November 19, 1965, a son of Rose Ardeno Calabro, of Washington, and the late Louis Calabro. Carl was a graduate of Trinity High School. Mr. Calabro had worked as a forklift operator for International Paper for over twenty-seven years. He enjoyed fishing and collecting sports memorabilia, and he loved his dog Lola, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren. On June 10, 2015, he married Dawn Sim, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Louis (Jordan Willey) Calabro, of Lancaster, PA; a sister, Luann Calabro, of Washington; three grandchildren, Silas, Avey and Luca; and several nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 4 until 5 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
