Carl Wayne Supler

We lovingly say farewell to Carl Wayne Supler, 87, of Washington, who passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Genesis Healthcare in Bridgeville, PA.

He was born on September 29, 1938, in Washington, the son of the late Clifford and Leona Wellman Supler.

After leaving school, Carl worked many years as a truck driver for Shriver’s Trucking as well as a laborer in brick manufacturing for Finley Clay.

On October 6, 1960, he married Ruthann Marshman, and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage until her passing on October 27, 2020.

Carl was a member of Rolling Hills Chapel.

He had many interests; he loved collecting “things”, tinkering with lawnmowers in his yard; he particularly enjoyed his motorcycle, but most of all, he treasured time spent with his family, specifically his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by a large and loving family; sons, David (Renee) Supler and Kenneth (Betty) Supler; daughters, Kathy (Richard) Firanski and Sandra (Brian) Hanna; grandchildren Christopher (Jennifer), Rachael, Sami (Ryan), Randy, Stacy (Dustin), Brian (Samantha), Jessica (Troy), Cody (Lindsey), Kenneth (Shawna), and Kayla; and great-grandchildren Chance, Melissa, Abigail, Kallie, Calin, Daxten, Kelsey, Jonas, Steven, Anthony, Ona, Molly, Drew, Charlee, Dante, Josie, Colton, Lane, Hayden, Addison, Aubrey, Easton, Jenson, Greyson, and Waylon.

In addition to his beloved wife and parents, Carl is predeceased by siblings Robert Supler, Roy Supler and Richard Supler.

A humble man, Carl’s wish was that there be no public visitation or service.
