Carol Lynn Zaimis

Carol Lynn Bozarth Zaimis, 64, of Washington, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, in her home.

She was born June 24, 1960, in Falls Church, Virginia, a daughter of the late Donald F. Bozarth and Rena Mae Hood Bozarth.

Carol was a 1978 graduate of Falls Church High School and a graduate of Northern Virginia Community College.

She was employed in the field of education as a superintendent’s assistant.

Carol enjoyed her pets, going to the beach, gardening and hummingbirds. She loved being a Mimi or Grandma and spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors.

Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca M. Teet and husband Brandon; a grandchild, Avery Teet; a brother, Phil Bozarth; two sisters, Cathy Wakefield and husband Michael and Christine “Chris” Fisher; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Arrangements are private and entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
