Charles William Dailey, Sr., 79, of Washington, died Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born September 22, 1938, in Washington, a son of the late Charles Lewis Dailey and Pearl Siebert Dailey. Mr. Dailey worked as a laborer in construction. He enjoyed scratch-off lottery tickets and puzzle books. Surviving are three sons, Charles, Robert and Mark Dailey; two daughters, Tammy and Sherry Dailey, all of Pittsburgh; nieces, whom he loved as his own daughters, Lori Harshall, Allegra Simonelli, Michele Sloneker, as well as a great-niece, Brandi Sloneker. Also surviving are a great many other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Rick Dailey; a brother, Orville Dailey; and three sisters, Allegra Matthews, Eva Sloneker and Lillian Dailey. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 27th, with Pastor Michael Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
