Clinton D. Rush

January 25, 1949 — March 23, 2021

Clinton D. Rush 72 of Washington left this earth March 23, 2021 in the care of his family, and the Donnell House, to go on the most amazing duck hunt he could have ever dreamed of. He was born January 25, 1949, in Washington, the son of Harold and Marjorie Peel Rush. He graduated in 1967 from Washington High School where he played base in the band “Ronnie King and the Passions” and had a single released “Girl Breaking Away”. On November 7, 1986, Clinton married Carol Lupi, who survives. He worked at the Washington Health System as an Orderly and then as a Surgical Technician for 49 years retiring in 2015. He continued working at Advanced Orthopedic Hospital until 2017. He is the last of his immediate family preceded in death by his parents and his sister Penny Morris. He served 2 years as a medic in the Army stationed in Fort Carson, CO. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, his dogs and collecting trains. His humor and “Clintisms” brightened all of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Christopher (Stacey) Rush, Michael (Danielle) Rush, Clint (Amanda) Rush; grandchildren, Harley and Paige Haney, Hunter, Grady, Damien and McKenna Rush. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services are private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Washington Health System, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301 WHS.org where his service touched many lives. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
