Clyde Mize

Clyde Mize, 91, of Washington, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

He was born in East Bethlehem Township on May 1, 1934, a son of the late Clyde Mize, Sr., and Stella Perkins Mize.

He was married to Sandra Polasky Mize who preceded him in death in May 2024.

Clyde was a graduate of Beth-Center High School.

He was a member of the National Guard.

Clyde worked at The Washington Hospital for many years, retiring as the Food Service Supervisor.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to The Rivers Casino to play poker with his great friend, Mike.

Clyde is survived by his stepdaughter Kelley Allen of Washington and stepson Anthony Dellorso of Nevada; sister Vonda Barrow of Virginia; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Clyde is predeceased by his brother Howard Mize; his sister Doris Kirin; his daughter Pamela Bocchino; and his son-in-law Paul Allen.

At Clyde’s request, there will be no viewing or service.
