Clyde Mize

Clyde Mize, 91, of Washington, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

He was born May 1, 1934, in East Bethlehem Township, a son of the late Clyde Mize Sr. and Stella Perkins Mize.

Clyde was married to Sandra Polasky Mize who preceded him in death in May 2024.

He was a graduate of Beth-Center High School.

Clyde was a member of the National Guard.

He worked at The Washington Hospital for many years, retiring as the food service supervisor.

Clyde was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to The Rivers Casino to play poker with his great friend, Mike.

Surviving are his stepdaughter, Kelley Allen of Washington; stepson Anthony Dellorso of Nevada; sister Vonda Barrow of Virginia; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Clyde is predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Bocchino; brother, Howard Mize; sister Doris Kirin; and son-in-law Paul Allen.

At Clyde’s request, there will be no viewing or service.
