Debra Ann Houston, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Washington, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in Village on the Isle Assisted Living in Venice, Florida.
She was born May 14, 1964, in Washington, a daughter of Catherine Mancina Houston and the late Guy Houston.
Debra was a 1982 graduate of Trinity High School. She graduated from Washington Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and a graduate of Washington Hospital School of Anesthesia. She obtained a bachelor's degree from West Liberty and a master’s science degree in Biology from California University of Pennsylvania.
She was employed as a certified registered nurse anesthetist and had worked at Canonsburg Hospital and Washington Hospital and various hospitals in North Carolina, Florida and West Virginia.
Debra was a member of West Washington United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Caribbean. She also enjoyed scuba diving, listening to music, going to concerts, and spending time with family.
On March 6, 1999, she married Ed Levine, who survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Kathy (Ken) Adams; her nieces and nephews, Mason (Ashley) Adams, Rachel Adams, Emily (Steven) Colussi; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Conner and Amelia Adams.
All arrangements are private and entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, Burial will be held in North Buffalo Cemetery.
