Dennis Andrew Marton

Dennis Andrew “Magilla” Marton, 76, of Ellsworth, PA, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

He was born on March 9, 1949, in North Charleroi, PA, the son of the late John Marton and Ella (Alger) Wyratt Marton.

Dennis attended Canon-McMillan High School and went on to build a career in Auto Body repair, training and working as a skilled technician.

He was an artist at heart, loving to draw, play guitar and listen to music (from old school rock ‘n roll to Do-wop), and play video games with his grand-kids.

Dennis was a member of North Buffalo Presbyterian Church.

On June 15, 1973, Dennis married his sweetheart, Debra Bernardi, who sadly passed away on April 9, 1996.

He is survived by their sons John D. (Debbie) Marton and Christopher A. (Kathy) Marton; grandchildren Caitlin (CJ) Duarte, Dylan Marton, Dominic Marton, Owen Marton, Baylie Marton, and Kinsley Marton; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Dennis is preceded in death by sisters Sally Cook and Kathy Johnson.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 9, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a service will follow visitation.

Interment will take place at North Buffalo Cemetery.
