Diana Lee Yurkovich, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Beechwood Homes in Cincinnati. Born on July 15, 1953, Diana was the daughter of the late Harry E. Evans, Sr. and Ruth Bungard Evans.
A 1971 graduate of Trinity High School, she was a homemaker and substitute teacher at Trinity High School. Her faith was central to her life—she was a devoted member of her church community and actively participated in several Bible studies, finding joy and purpose in fellowship and spiritual growth.
On August 16, 1975, she married Peter Yurkovich, who preceded her in death on October 25, 2020. Their 45-year marriage was blessed with two children and four grandchildren who were the joy of their lives.
Diana is survived by her son, Evan (Morgan) Yurkovich of Greenville, South Carolina; her daughter, Danielle (Duke) Haugh of Terrace Park, Ohio; and five cherished grandchildren: Will, Sophie, and Henry Haugh, and Brooks and Ira Yurkovich. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Evans, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025, at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will follow at 12 p.m.
