Diane Ree Hickman

Diane Ree Hickman, 70, of Washington, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

She was born August 10, 1954, in Washington, a daughter of Louise Hickman of Washington and the late Reed E. Hickman. She was raised in Prosperity.

Diane was a 1972 graduate of McGuffey High School and a 1974 graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing.

She retired from Southwestern Veteran’s Center in 2010. She was previously employed at Saint Francis Hospital and Western Center. After retirement, she worked at Vintage in Bloom.

Diane was a member of Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church and Retired Public Employees of PA.

She enjoyed her plants and spending time with family, friends, and the Prosperity girls. Last, but not least, she loved her cat, Grace.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are three sisters, Dixie Hickman of Waynesboro, Debby Jo Shaner of Washington and Darla (Scott) Reese of Washington; four nieces, Susan (Patrick) Meighen, Stefanie (Matthew) Lawrence, Emily (Eric) Medina and Sara (Chris Barnes) Reese; and seven great-nieces and nephews, Seth, Lauren and Riley Meighen, Nathan Cristini, Sam Lawrence and Jaxson and Jordana Medina.

Deceased, in addition to her father, is her loving companion of many years, Willie Cameron.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2025.
