Don Jeffrey Saddler, 62, of Washington, died June 9, 2022, in his home. He was born June 13, 1959, in Charleston, West Virginia, a son of the late Don J. Saddler and Rosemary J. Coleman Saddler. A graduate of Peters Township High School, Mr. Saddler served three years in the Army (1977-80) as a military policeman then served in the National Guard until 1983. He worked at Coca-Cola, retiring as a manager. Mr. Saddler loved his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed collecting stamps, fishing, and playing guitar. He was Baptist by faith. On December 1, 1978, he married Sherry K. Laneve, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Brooke Erin Saddler of Cecil, Brynn Rene Saddler of Avella, Brandy Lynn Saddler of Pittsburgh, and Don J. Saddler II (Michael Krewson) of Lansdale; a sister, Donna J. Moody of McMurray; three grandchildren, Isabella Paige Yusko, Liam Garrett Saddler, and Ethan William Minneker; and a nephew, Joseph Moody. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, June 16th. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Military rites will be accorded graveside by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.
