Doris Jean Gunsallus Fiscus, age 87, of Bethel Park, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. She was born July 19, 1931, in the home of her parents at 105 Grimes Avenue, Pittsburgh. She graduated from South Hills High School. Doris was the daughter of the late James Carl and Marjorie Quinn Williams Gunsallus; sister of the late James M. Gunsallus; and loving wife of the late Victor H. Fiscus, whom she married December 28, 1956, and lost to death February 8, 2014. A member of First Bethel United Methodist Church, Doris loved God and her family. Sewing, ceramics, bowling and cooking were her pastimes of choice. Surviving are her daughters, Heidi (Russell L. Sr.) Crupe of Avella and Tami (Robert H.) Pugh of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Sarah (James) Combs of Avella, Preston (Victoria) Crupe of Glenville, New York, Jodie (the late Charles) Wheatley of Florida, Sean (Nadia) of Florida, Robert H. Pugh II of Bethel Park, Roberta (Bryan) Proulx of New York, and Shannon (Alex) Santiago of Florida; 15 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Glenn W. Fiscus of North Carolina; and sister-in-law, Nancy Gunsallus of Cranberry. Deceased are a grandson, Russell L. Crupe, Jr., and a great-grandchild, Clara Dawn Crupe. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 31st, in First Bethel United Methodist Church, 5901 Library Road, Bethel Park, with Rev. Tom Barnicott officiating.
