Emma Sim Corabi, 96,formerly of Washington PA, went to rest in peace with the Lord on August 20, 2025, in Fishers, IN.

Emma was born on August 12, 1929, to Sandy and Rose (nee Lorello) Sim. Emma is preceded in death by her husband Gabriel Corabi, parents, stepmother Mary Sim, brother Frank Sim, son in law David Morrisey, sisters in law and brothers in law and cousins.

A graduate of Immaculate Conception High School and Penn Commercial College, she began her working career with the Immaculate Conception Parish office. While living in Washington, PA, Emma was a member of the Washington Hospital Auxiliary, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters of Immaculate Conception, and the ISDA Vittoria Lodge.

On December 4th, 1954, Emma married Gabriel Corabi, and they were married for 46 years until his passing on January 20, 2000. They were partners in life and their businesses. Surviving are daughters, Regina Corabi Morrisey (late David), Anita Corabi, cousin, Frances Gigliotti; nieces and nephews; Donna Olian (Roger), Margaret Schulhof (Dennis), Chuck Vorum (Marsha), Steve Vorum, David Anderson (Sheryl) and Tracy Vorum and great nephews; Kory (Nicole), Stephen and Vincent (Natalie) Vorum.

Emma lived a life of faith, grace and dignity and faced all the challenges of aging with the same spirit. She set an example of strength and hard work for her daughters. Emma was a wonderful mother, wife, aunt, and friend. She was always there to lend a hand, volunteer, make a wonderful meal or bake a delicious pie. After her move to Indiana and the passing of her husband, Emma enjoyed a part time job for 14 years until her retirement at age 84.

All arrangements are through William G. Neal Funeral Homes, LTD. in Washington, PA. Funeral and burial will be private on August 28, 2025.

Regina and Anita would like to thank the hospice nurses of Compassus (Indianapolis) for their excellent care and support. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Compassus Hospice (Indianapolis), Hamilton County Indiana Meals on Wheels or St. James Parish, Washington, PA.
