Evelyn Jean Varner, born on June 26, 1926, in Washington, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Jean filled the lives of those around her with unparalleled warmth and joy. Her caring nature, fun-loving spirit, and friendly demeanor left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Jeans' life was a tapestry woven with beautiful memories, laughter, and love. She was married to Merle E. "Bud" Varner, whose presence she dearly missed since his passing. Together, they shared countless adventures and cherished moments, especially enjoying travels that expanded their horizons. Evelyn had a particular fondness for shopping trips, gambling at Biloxi and sunny days spent at the beach, where her zest for life truly shone through.
At the heart of Jeans' world were her family and proudest accomplishments, notably her daughter Carol, who was married to the late William Spencer. Jeans' legacy lives on through her 4 beloved grandchildren. Each of them carries forward her spirit and values, which will resonate through generations.
As a great-grandmother, she delighted in the adventures of 11 great grandchildren. The joy they brought into her life was immeasurable, and she took great pride in being a part of their lives. The newest addition to her family, a great-great-grandchild. That was a testament to the love that flourished in Jeans' family, a lasting reminder of her nurturing spirit.
Jean lived life with a genuine passion. Her devotion to family was evident in every moment spent with them, her laughter ringing out as a cherished memory, and her caring heart always open. Though she has departed from this world, Evelyn "Jean" Varner's legacy of love, family, and joy will forever remain a guiding light in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
