Floyd "Buck" Anderson, 85, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019. He was born May 10, 1933, in Holbrook, Greene County, a son of the late Louis and Ada Anderson. For over 30 years, Mr. Anderson worked as a machine operator at Washington Penn Plastics. He enjoyed hunting, especially deer, fishing, helping his friends and neighbors, and spending time with friends and family. Mr. Anderson especially adored his grandson, his grandson's wife, and his great-grandchildren. On May 20, 1956, he married Anna Lewis, who died January 11, 2013. Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Elaine Clutter-Gashel (Wilbur) of Washington; grandson, Floyd Anthony Clutter (Tera) of Gibsonia; two great-grandchildren, Carolyn and Preston Clutter; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Anderson was the last of his immediate family. Friends will be received from Noon till 2 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, January 12, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Jeff Marton officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
