George "Joe" Miller

George "Joe" Miller, 79, of Washington, died on December 5, 2022, in Washington Hospital. He was born on July 31, 1943, in Washington, a son of the late Louis Miller and Sarah Bedillion Ankrom. Joe had attended McGuffey High School. He worked for Route 19 Auto Salvage for more than forty years. Joe loved working on cars and tinkering in the garage, as well as building things. On February 26, 1964, he married the love of his life, Shirley Loughman, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Tom (the late Jane) Miller, of Washington; two grandchildren, Kyle Bird, of Canonsburg and Farrah Bird, of Washington; and his son-in-law, Wayne Kraeer, of Eighty Four. Deceased are a daughter, Donna Bird; and a sister, Margaret Miller. At the request of the deceased, there will be no services.
