Glenda Grace Miller, a beacon of love and kindness, was born on January 29, 1944, in Washington, PA. She passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, yet her spirit will forever illuminate their lives.
Glenda graduated from Washington High School with a sweetness that mirrored her personality—loving, caring, and selfless. Throughout her life, she embodied kindness, always making those around her feel special and valued. A generous soul, she dedicated herself to her family, finding great joy and fulfillment in being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her proudest accomplishments were the moments spent nurturing her children, a task she approached with unwavering commitment and passion.
Glenda had a deep love for Jesus, reading her Bible daily, and this faith shaped her life. She exuded warmth, whether through her thoughtful gestures or her famous chocolate chip cookies, which became a beloved staple for her family gatherings. The aroma of her cooking and baking will forever evoke cherished memories of family bonding and laughter.
Her story of love blossomed in a rather unconventional way—Glenda met the love of her life, Russell Miller, after almost running him off the road. Their romance was indeed love at first sight, a testament to the serendipity that often accompanies true love. Together, they crafted a life filled with happiness, laughter, and unwavering support for each other.
Glenda is survived by her beloved children: daughter Debby (David Whoolery) Miller Andersen and son Mark (Bonnie) Miller. She also leaves behind a legacy of love in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her generous spirit and affectionate nature. She also leaved behind many nieces and nephews.
She joins in eternal rest her brothers Don, Ron, and Bob Lusk, her parents Kenneth Lusk and Dorothy (Morrison) Byers, and her cherished husband, Russell, who have welcomed her home with open arms.
Friends and family will be received on Friday December 12, 2025 from 10AM until time of service at 12PM at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave. Washington PA 15301. Burial to follow at Emmanuel Cemetery.
