Harold Wright passed away peacefully in Concordia Donnell house on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on June 7, 1937, in Nineveh, Pennsylvania, Harold lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service.
Harold was a dedicated truck driver for Penn Dot prior to his retirement. He also enjoyed several years working as a tractor trailer driver for various local and long distant freight companies. Harold proudly and honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.
A man of many talents, Harold was known as "Mr. Fix It". There was hardly a challenge he couldn't tackle, whether it involved fixing a broken appliance or any random thingamajig. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for hunting and camping.
Harold was a loyal and loving husband to his late wife, Norma Jean Wright, and a devoted father to his surviving children, Mark (Sheryl) Wright and Lisa (Chris) White. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Caitlin, Cassidy, and Carissa White, and Noah Wright, who will all fondly remember their grandfather's stories, wisdom, and love.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Norma Jean Wright, his parents, Wilbert and Veva Wright , brothers Raynor, Boyd, Floyd and sisters Oretta and Virginia. Harold leaves behind a wealth of memories and a strong family who will carry forward his spirit of kindness, resilience, and love.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be given to Concordia Donnell house of Washington.
