Harry Edward Thomas Cox Jr., 63, of West Alexander, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born May 2, 1962, the son of the late Harry Edward Thomas Cox Sr. and Martha Paulette Allen Ritter.
Harry was a 1982 graduate of Avella High School and was employed by Wally’s Collision and Towing.
He was a member of First Christian Church of West Alexander.
Harry served in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Army Service Ribbon and Rifle M-16 Sharpshooter Ribbon.
He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider and loved taking his grandson to the movies.
On August 2, 1991, he married Tina J. Loar Cox, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Drew Cox (Jodilyn Golnik), Nadia Cox (Richard Allen Sr.), and Harry Edward Thomas Cox III (McKenzie Billingsley); his siblings, George, Dewayne, Richard, Dan, Jimmy, Robby, Chris, and Mary; and two grandchildren, Richard “Richie” Allen Jr., and Adley Allen.
Deceased is a brother, Tommy.
Family and friends will be received from 12 to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Wiliam G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will follow at 6 p.m., with Pastor Bruce Graff officiating. Military rites will be accorded by Edwin Scott Linton American Legion Post 175 of Washington.
