Howard R. “Rusty” Donley, 64, of West Newton, formerly of Washington, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 17, 2026 , in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born on December 3, 1961, in Washington, a son of James Donley and Sarah Louise Byrd Byers.
Rusty attended Trinity High School and went on to work for Penn Commercial Business Technical School for over 40 years as a maintenance supervisor.
He was a devoted member of New Life Tabernacle Church in New Stanton.
If you were ever looking for Rusty, chances are you could find him outdoors. He loved coon hunting and fishing with his beloved coon hound, Ruby. There was nothing that brought Howard more joy than cutting his grass and maintaining his lawn, he took great pride in the upkeep.
On June 14, 2003, married his beloved wife of 23 years, Gloria A. Kentz Donley.
Rusty is also survived by his brothers, Frank and Brian; his sisters, Sharon and Cindy; a stepson, John Yandora; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Howard is preceded in death by a stepson, Wade Yandora.
All services are private and entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
