James W. Gratz

James W. Gratz, 87, of Clarksville, passed away November 14, 2022. He was born February 27, 1935, in Washington, a son of the late Clyde and Pearl Gratz. James worked at Jessop Steel for 37 years as an expediter, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his two grandsons. On March 31, 1959, he married Ruth Ann Danley, who survives. Surviving in addition to wife, are a daughter, Linda Hodgson (Bob) of Washington; one son, David Gratz (Lori), of Prosperity; two grandsons, Zachary Gratz (Cheyenne), of Taylorstown, and Michael Gratz (Sarah), of East Finley. Deceased are two brothers, Sonny Gratz, and Bob Gratz. Thanks goes to Lasosky’s Personal Care Home Staff and Hospice Care. All services are private. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery.
