Janice Lee Lemon

Janice Lee Lemon, born on November 12, 1941, in Washington, Pennsylvania, departed this life on July 19, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Washington. She was a person who embodied hard work, both inside and outside of the home, and her spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Janice, known affectionately by many as a loving and caring individual, always put others before herself. She had a special way of making everyone feel cherished and valued, qualities that made her an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family fondly remembers her as the best cook and baker, particularly for her spaghetti and gobs.

In her leisure time, Janice enjoyed the simple yet fulfilling pleasure of spending time with her family, often engaging in spirited board games that brought laughter and joy to their gatherings.

Janice is mourned by her devoted family, including her daughters, Yavonne Packey and her husband Donald, Lisa Lane and her husband Nichlas, and her son Steven Grabowski and his wife Valerie. She was a proud grandmother to Steven, Derek, Shane, and Shanna, and took immense joy in being a great grandmother to Khai, Amirah, and Kallie.

She is survived by her brothers, Robert Jacobs and his wife Amanda, Keith Jacobs and his wife Lisa, her sisters, Susan Wright, and Ruth Miller. She was predeceased by her sister Beverly Baer and her husband Butch, brother-in-law Rossi Wright as well as her parents Moses and Betty Briggs Jacobs.

Janice Lee Lemon's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate to have known her. She leaves behind a beautiful tapestry of memories, woven with compassion and generosity.
