Jean A. Stewart

Jean A. Stewart, 91, of Washington, died February 6, 2018, in The Washington Hospital. She was born September 1, 1926, in Old Concord, a daughter of the late Leo and Hazel Day Andrew. Mrs. Stewart graduated from Morris Township High School in 1944.  She was a homemaker who was devoted to her family.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Stewart was a member of Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church, Prosperity. On June 19, 1946, she married Robert E. Stewart, who died March 1, 2002. Surviving are three children, Lynne S. (Ed) Martin, Lisa M. (George) Preisendorfer, and Lyle W. (Peggy) Stewart; seven grandchildren, Michele (Rick) Coleman, Marissa (Rich) King, Lindsey (Justin) Crothers, Gabreal Preisendorfer, J. M. Stewart, Matthew R. Stewart, and Samuel B. Stewart; and seven great-grandchildren. Deceased are all of her siblings. Friends will be received from Noon till 2 p.m., the time of service, on Saturday, February 10th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Larry Deemer officiating.  Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
