Jeannette Elaine Roble, 64, of Washington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 9, 2021, after battling a 24-month long terminal illness. She was born December 4, 1956 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Josephine Albina Fisher Duncan. Jeannette graduated from McGuffey High School and worked as a nurse’s aid at Hawthorne Woods for many years. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, singing, spending time outdoors, and the time she spent with family and grandchildren. On August 4, 2002, Jeannette married John E. Roble, who survives. Also surviving are daughters Stacey (David) Allen, Sandra (Justin) Allen, Michelle (Amanda) Clark, and Jane (Mike) Clark; sons James Lee (Patty) Clark III, Christopher (Rhonda) Clark, and Patrick (Elizabeth) Clark; sisters Jane Christopher, June (Keith) Wilkerson, and Tammy Duncan; 28 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; stepdaughter Ellen Roble; stepsons John Roble and Jimmy Roble; and many nieces and nephews. Jeannette was preceded in death by husband James Lee Clark, Jr., who died in 1996. Also deceased are siblings Joseph “Buzz” Duncan, John Duncan, Jace Duncan, Josephine Gray, Joyce Stray, Jackie Phillips, and stepdaughter Barb Roble.
