Jeffrey Elton Tracey, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, son and brother passed away peacefully at his home in Washington, Pennsylvania, on October 19, 2025, with his family by his side. Born on November 1, 1958, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeffrey lived a life that was marked by devotion to his family and an unwavering dedication to his career.
Jeffrey's professional journey was anchored at Washington Hospital, where he worked tirelessly for 41 years, culminating in the role of Pharmacist before his retirement in 2024. He graduated from Moon Township High School and furthered his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, laying the foundation for a career that was both impactful and respected.
As a multifaceted individual, Jeffrey was known for his kind nature, adventurous spirit, and remarkable ability to connect with others. He was a devoted husband to Denise (Korowicki) Tracey who he met in college and married on August 14, 1982, and dear son of Mary (Vogel) Tracey. Jeff cherished his role as a father to his two sons, Christopher (Tomee Jo) Tracey and Matthew (Anthony) Tracey. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren Kennedy, Kyler, and Jaxton Tracey who will forever treasure the memories of their time with their “pap pap.”
In addition to his family ties, Jeffrey was a proud brother to Jenine Tracey, Leslie (James) Mercer, Laura (Michael) Armstrong, John (Linda) Tracey, and Stephen (Julie) Tracey. He is also survived by his his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert "Lucky" and Catherine "Winnie" Korowicki, Karen (Josef Laabs) Korowicki, Joyce (Carmen) Perry and sister-in-law Marybeth Head. Jeffrey was predeceased by his father, John J. Tracey, as well as nephews Eric Mercer and Sean Tracey, and brother-in-law William Korowicki.
Jeffrey's passions extended beyond his career and family. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Pulaski Golf League for many years. He was a member of the 1781 Golf Club and enjoyed the pinochle league, indulging in good cigars, bourbon, and traveling, especially on his beach trips to North Carolina with cherished family and friends . His enthusiasm for renovations and repairing items reflected his generous spirit, as he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
As we reflect on the life of Jeffrey Elton Tracey, we remember him as a man of great character whose bright spirit touched all who knew him. His kindness, warmth, adventurous nature and ability to lighten a situation with his quick whit will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Friends and family are invited to the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave. Washington PA 15301 on Thursday October 23, 2025 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM. Friday October 24, 2025 a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Church 119 W. Chestnut Street Washington PA 15301 at 11AM.
