Jennifer "Diane" Kelley, a cherished touchstone in the lives of those around her, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Washington, PA, on October 26, 2025. Born on January 1, 1950, Jennifer dedicated several remarkable years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, serving with unwavering compassion at various nursing facilities throughout her beloved community. Her commitment to caring for others was a testament to her warm and welcoming personality, leaving a lasting impact on countless patients and their families.
Diane was a proud graduate of McGuffey High School, Class of 1967. Throughout her life, she found joy in simple pleasures that brought light to her days: watching the Hallmark Channel, embracing the Christmas season with an open heart, partaking in early Christmas shopping, and savoring peaceful walks outdoors. However, her greatest treasure was the time spent with family, where laughter and love intertwined to create beautiful memories.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Charles "Cecil" (Kathy) Kelly Jr. and William (Loy) Kelley Sr., her beloved daughter, Tracey (Bud Robison) Anderson, her brothers, Frank (Kathy) Hanning and Roger (Molly) Hanning, and her sister, Jackie (Jeff) Halloway and son in law Ron Anderson. Jennifer's bond with her dear friend and former husband, Charles Kelley Sr., showcased a love that transcended time. She is also survived by her long-time friend John Bogaard, sisters-in-law Brenda Hanning and Connie Hanning, brother-in-law Dave Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her as a guiding light in their lives. The legacy of her nurturing spirit continues through her 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.
Diane is preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Tammy Kelley, and her great-grandson, Travis Lewis Jr. She is also reunited with her departed sister, Kathy Hill, and her brothers Randy Hanning Sr., Terry Hanning, and Glenn Hanning Jr., who welcomed her with open arms.
Diane's life was one marked by love, devotion, and an unparalleled capacity to care for others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched, as they carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion.
Friends and Family will be received from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM. Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington PA, where services will take place at 7PM.
