Jeremy Brett Halligan, 48, of Bridgeville, formerly of Prosperity, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

He was born February 25, 1977, in New Kensington, a beloved son of Stephen Halligan and Karen Kassouf Halligan.

A 1995 graduate of McGuffey High School, Jeremy went on to attend the Community College of Allegheny County. He was a dedicated employee of Hunter Sales Corporation in Bethel Park, where he worked for 17 years.

Jeremy was Anglican by faith. He had a warm and generous spirit, a sharp sense of humor, and a deep love for his family. He especially cherished reading to his children when they were young, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. Jeremy had a passion for diamond art, took great pride in his famously delicious deviled eggs, and loved WWE. He adored his cat, Boots, and found joy in the simple moments spent with those closest to him.

Above all, Jeremy was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He deeply treasured the time he spent with his children and stepchildren, who were the light of his life.

On July 25, 2020, he married Tanya Hurd Halligan, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Aidan Halligan; two daughters, Sydney (Riley) Gilliland and Sierra Joseph; two stepdaughters, Leah Hartsell and Leah (Bralynd) Russell; two brothers, Kurt (Jamie) Halligan and Patrick Halligan; a sister, Amanda (Brad) McNary; nieces and nephews, Tanner, Zandar, Quinn, and Liv Halligan; a sister-in-law, Desiree Morrell; and many cherished friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Jamey Russell and the Rev. Canon Tracey Russell officiating.
