John “Jack” Eustis, 84, of Bridgeville, died on Saturday, January 5, 2019, in Canonsburg Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1934, in Washington, a son of the late John Wilbur Eustis, Sr. and Mary Crossland Eustis. A graduate of Trinity High School, he was Methodist by faith. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving during the Korean War, until his honorable discharge on July 2, 1957. For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Eustis had worked as a manager for Jessop Steel. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and spending time at the beach. On July 21, 1986, he married Lynn Ruffner Young, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Gregory (Cheryl) Eustis, of Washington, Thomas Eustis, of Albert Lea, MN, Jonathan (Heather) Eustis, of West Alexander, and Ross Young, of Aliquippa; three daughters, Cheryl (Michael) Wiskirchen, of Indianapolis, IN, Lisa (Jeff) Olson, of Albert Lea, MN and Amber (Lowell) Darby, of Cumming, GA; a brother, David (Linda) Eustis, of Crawfordville, FL; and two sisters, Marilyn Failinger, of Stewart, FL and Nancy (Donald) Markley, of Bethel Park. He adored his grandchildren, and was the best Po Po and grandpa ever. Deceased is a brother, William Eustis. Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
