Joseph Robert Southall

Joseph “Joe” Robert Southall, 59, of Washington, died June 24, 2022, in Washington Hospital. He was born July 26, 1962, in Kenn, West Virginia, the son of the late Wade Frances and Mary Ball Southall. Mr. Southall was a cook for Century Plaza. He enjoyed fishing and camping, and spending time with his grandchildren. On September 18, 1982, Joseph married Harriet Gray, who survives. Also surviving is a son, Mason Gorney; daughters, Jennifer (Jim) Gordon, and Jessica Southall; a brother, Russell Southall; a sister, Peg Crow; grandchildren, Jesse, Sky, Desiree, Destiny, and Aaron Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by a brother, Butch Southall, and sisters, Becky Southall, and Mary Burgan. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 29, 2022, 2-4 pm and 6-7 pm, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
