Karen Lynn Bryner, 74, of Hickory, PA, died at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2026, in her home surrounded by all of her loved ones.
She was born April 30,1952, in Washington, PA., a daughter of the late Clyde and Margery Bainbridge.
Ms. Bryner graduated from Trinity Highschool in 1971, and went on to work at the Dog House as a waitress in her early years, but in her later years was self-employed and worked as a “the cleaning lady”.
She was a Christian by faith.
On June 18, 1983, she married William Bryner, who preceded her in death.
Not only did she raise her children, but she raised two of her granddaughters. Surviving are two daughters, Holly S. Samples of Washington and Lora L. Samples of Pittsburgh; a son, Leland R. Samples II (Amy) of Canonsburg; and a step-son, William R. Bryner of Washington; eleven grandchildren, Josalyn (JD) King, Jessica Samples, JaMichael Eddison, Taylor (Josh) Dorn, Micayla (Jean-Luc) Campion, Kristopher Moorhouse, Baileigh Samples, Leland Samples III, Evelyn Samples; nine great-grandchildren, Izabella King, Thomas King, Samuel King; Camren Samples, Jacob Beaver Jr., Rilee Samples, Jesse Samples, Jackson Dorn, Adaliya Edison, and JaMichael Edison Jr.
Deceased is a brother, Raymond Karp; and five sisters, Lorretta Peffer, Judy Burt, Margery Shrives, Beverly Smith and Rose Marie Peterman.
All services are private and entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
