Karen Lynn Thomas Creek, 70, of Washington, passed away November 23, 2025, in her home, surrounded by family.
She was born July 4, 1955, a daughter of the late Albert Thomas and Marilyn Zink Thomas.
Karen was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1973, and went on to work as a telemarketer for CCI.
In her free time, she loved watching NASCAR, the Cleveland Browns football games, playing bingo, solving puzzles and crosswords, and above all spending time with her family.
On November 26, 1995, she married Robert “Bob” Creek who passed away on December 23, 2020.
Karen is survived by two daughters, Yvonne (Bryan) Harris and Kimberly Reedy; three sons, Richard “Rick” Creek, Patrick (Ali) Creek and Christopher (Janice) Creek; two sisters, Diane Devault and Bonnie Holmes; seven grandchildren, Scott Harris, Eric Gallo, Christopher Creek, Robert “RJ” Creek, Nyccole Creek, Kaylee Creek and Connor Creek; an adopted grandson, Tyler McKinney; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
She is preceded in death by an adopted daughter, Val Miller; a brother-in-law, Robert Holmes; an adopted sister, Cindy Phillips; a nephew, Ronne Rush; and three nieces, Christina “Chris”, Michelle and Denise.
Family and friends will be received from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., the hour of service, Sunday, November 30, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Chaplain Mona of 365 Hospice officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to Karen’s family.
