South Strabane

Kenneth "Ken" Eugene Bedillion, 89, of South Strabane, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in the loving arms of his wife, Dottie, at Donnell House, Washington.

He was born on October 15, 1935, in Amwell Township, a son of the late Leo Richey Bedillion and Lulu Leon Shipe Bedillion.

Ken attended Trinity High School, Class of 1954.

He was a proud member of the United Mine Workers for 69 years. He worked hard each and every day to provide for his family. He had one motive in life, and that was to live it to the fullest with the ones he loved. He filled every room with his outgoing personality and great memories.

Ken had been a member of Grace Brethren Church in Washington and Lone Pine Christian Church.

He enjoyed square-dancing with his wife, Dottie, his favorite partner, Ocean City beaches, and his friendships at the clubhouse of their senior living community.

On September 13, 1985, he married his beloved wife Dorothy “Dottie” Wells, who survives. They moved to Washington in 2019.

Ken will be deeply missed by his children, Lugene Rossini, Waynette Pellegrini, Sheldon (Lori) Bedillion, Brenda (Craig) Oaks, and Richard Bedillion; grandchildren Angela Camilli, Bryan Rossini, Darletta (Brandon) Lindsey, Craig (Molly) Pellegrini, Bradley (Kaitlyn) Pellegrini, Louie (Bri) Pellegrini, Grant (Joy) Bedillion, Kirstan (Allen) Gingrich, Alex (Aleigh) Bedillion, Molly Rasmussen, Thomas (Jordan) Rasmussen; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ken is preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine Watkins; brothers Leo Richey Bedillion and Monte Carlo Bedillion; sons-in-law Dave Rossini and Lou Pellegrini; daughter-in-law Mari Bernosky; and grandson Rich Camilli.

Special thanks go out to Ken’s caregivers at Southmont, Hospice Home Care, and The Donnell House.
