Kenneth R. "Ken" Dyson

Kenneth R. “Ken” Dyson, 78, of Washington, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026.

Born on March 1, 1948, he was a son of the late John O. “Jack” Dyson and Christine Bruno Dyson.

Ken was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School. He proudly became a business owner, opening May’rz Inn in Washington in 1990.

On October 22, 1966, Ken married his beloved wife, Sandra “Sandy” Mandich Dyson, who survives.

Ken is also survived by sons, Dan (Chelsea Liberatore) Dyson and Rob Dyson; brothers, Dan A. (Patti) Dyson and Ron (Cathy) Dyson; grandchildren, Ashley (Dan) Hison, Kayden (Shane Baker) Dyson, and Tylor Dyson; a step-granddaughter, Sienna Heasley; great grandchildren, Roman Phillips, Amelia Hison, and Paisley Baker; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katelyn Dyson.
