Washington

Kevin L. Bruce, 48, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Born in Washington, Pennsylvania, Kevin was the beloved son of Mary Lou Hayges Bruce and the late Allen Bruce.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Allen Bruce, and his sister-in-law, Billie Jo Bruce.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Colby Eneix Bruce, whom he married on October 11, 2025. He is also survived by his loving daughter, Jenna Bruce; his stepsons, Alec Wilkeson and Severn Wilkeson; his mother, Mary Lou Hayges Bruce; his brothers, Jason Bruce and his wife, Kim, and Wayne Bruce; his nieces, Irelyn Bruce, Allena Bruce, and Izabella Connor; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Kevin also leaves behind two lifelong best friends, Aaron “Fuzz” Fazzari and William “Bull” Lane, with whom he shared countless memories, laughter, and adventures throughout the years.

Together with his wife, Colby, Kevin proudly owned and operated Eneix Enterprises, where they built not only a successful business but a life founded on hard work and dedication.

Kevin will be remembered for his generous heart, his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and his incredible sense of humor. He had a remarkable ability to make people laugh, and his kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He found great joy in the simple things in life. Kevin loved tending to his goats and chickens, mowing the grass, fishing, running his excavator, playing the guitar, and, above all, spending time with his family, friends, and those he loved most.

Among Colby’s most treasured memories is the day Kevin proposed to her, a moment she held close to her heart. Jenna fondly remembers a special day at her grandmother Mary Lou’s house before getting her ears pierced, when Kevin made up a silly song that had everyone laughing. These cherished moments reflect the love, laughter, and joy Kevin brought into the lives of those closest to him.

Though his time with us was far too short, Kevin’s legacy of love, generosity, hard work, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
