Larry D. Blakeslee, 75, of Carnegie, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Forbes Regional Hospital.

Larry was born on September 10, 1951, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Malcolm Blakeslee and Ruth Dowler Blakeslee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Karen Blakeslee, and his brother-in-law, Mike Morran.

Larry attended Carnegie High School and went on to pursue a career as a draftsman; a profession he took great pride in throughout his life.

To his family, Larry was affectionately known as the family photographer, always ready to capture the special moments and memories they shared. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time with his loved ones. He never missed a holiday, cookout, birthday, or family gathering, and he was always there to cheer on his nieces and nephews at their sporting events. Larry was someone his family could always count on, no matter the time or circumstances. His dependable nature and the love he had for his family will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his beloved sister, Cheryl Morran, and his stepmother, Mary Blakeslee. He is also survived by his niece and nephews and their spouses, Matt and his wife, Jordan; Ashley; and Brandon and his wife, Miranda. He will be dearly missed by his three great-nephews, Elijah, Titus, and Arthur.

Relatives and friends are invited to the William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, for a visitation on Wednesday October 14th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow immediately after the visitation. Interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
