Marcy Dora Pittman Curtis, 62, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in her home in Washington.
She was born September 10, 1962, in Sewickley, a daughter of Eugene Pittman and the late Patricia Moyles.
Marcy was a 1980 graduate of Quaker Valley High School and had worked in the healthcare industry as a home care aide.
She loved animals, being outdoors, and spending time with family and was a true “people person.”
Marcy was a U.S. Army veteran and was Director and Past Secretary of the Western PA Wounded Warriors. She was a lifetime member of the AM Vets of Hopwood, member of American Legion Post 175 and a social member of the VFW Post 927.
On June 7, 2014, she married Jeffrey “Jeff” S. Curtis, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a stepdaughter, Jessica (William) Stenger; two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Taimi Dunham and Jeneen Zpaf; and beloved nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Deceased, in addition to her mother, is a brother, Trevor Pittman.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, Saturday, May 17, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Tim Trent officiating.
A celebration of life is set to be held June 7th , 2025 at 1 pm at the VFW Post 927 in Washington.
