Margaret E. Gallo, who passed away peacefully at home in Washington, PA on July 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 28, 1937, Margaret epitomized kindness and devotion, dedicating a significant part of her career as a Nurse's Aide in Washington PA, where her hardworking nature shone brightly as she selflessly cared for others.
Margaret was more than just a nurturing figure in her professional life; she was a profound source of love and laughter to her family and friends. Known for her caring spirit and helpfulness, she had a zest for life that was infectious. Her passions included watching WWE, with a particular admiration for her favorite wrestler, Roman Reigns. Her playful spirit found joy in card games and Yahtzee, where she became a pro, delighting her loved ones with her competitive edge and vibrant personality. When she wasn't cheering on her favorite wrestlers or shuffling cards, she could often be found indulging in her love for cooking shows, where her interest in culinary arts inspired those around her.
Margaret's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her family and the legacy of love she built around them. She is survived by her cherished son, Thomas (Jenifer) Dinch and a host of grandchildren who brought light into her life: Thomas Dinch Jr., Faith Dinch, William (Cassie) Dinch, Charlie Gallo, Angie Gallo, Frank Gallo, Kim Reedy, Yvonne Harris, and Emma Stanley. Margaret also held a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren, Lydia Dinch, Eric Gallo, and Domenic Allen, who filled her days with joy and laughter.
Margaret's family roots run deep, and she is preceded in death by her parents, Warren Briggs and Ruth (McDonald) Briggs, and is remembered lovingly by her siblings, Donald Briggs and Martha Thanpis. She was also blessed with the memory of her son the late Leroy B. Dinch and late grandchildren, Christina Dinch and Michelle Dinch her brothers Warren Briggs Jr, Frank Briggs, Samuel Briggs, John Briggs and sister Mabel Wesley.
As we remember Margaret E. Gallo, we celebrate a life richly lived, one defined by hard work, unwavering love, and cherished moments with those she adored. Her spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends, who carry forward her legacy of compassion and strength. She will be dearly missed, yet her memory will forever remain a guiding light in the lives she touched.
Friends are invited to the William G. Neal Funeral Home 925 Allison Ave. Washington PA 15301 on Tuesday August 12, 2025 from 4PM to 8PM. A prayer service will take place on August 13, 2025 at 11AM followed by burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
