Mary Grace Grimm

Mary Grace Grimm passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026. She was born on July 27, 1941, to William “Barney” and Lulu McCoy.

Mary Grace was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon Grimm, the love of her life. The couple was married on May 10, 1961, and shared 64 wonderful years of marriage together.

She is survived by her only son, Theodore Grimm and his wife, Robin. Mary Grace loved her son immensely, and the bond they shared was one of the greatest joys of her life. She was a devoted mother who took tremendous pride in Theodore and the family they built together. She is also survived by her beloved grandsons, Shawn Grimm and his wife, Chrisden, and Tyler Grimm and his wife, Sara. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and was a proud great-grandmother to Sienna, Maxwell, Sophia, Sage, and Tate. Her family was truly the center of her world.

Mary Grace is also survived by her sister, Margaret Brodnick; brother-in-law Robert “Halden” Grimm and sister-in-law Carolyn Grimm; sister-in-law Mary Jane McCoy; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Grace was preceded in death by her brothers Edward, Robert, John “Buck,” William, Richard, and infant brother Joey McCoy; and sisters-in-law Mary Jane, Margaret, and Carol McCoy.

Mary Grace also dearly loved her sweet dog, Mandy, who brought her endless comfort, companionship, and joy.

Mary Grace will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family for so many reasons, including her famous éclair cake, warm and generous hugs, and her strong-willed spirit that was unmistakably her own. Her love, determination, and unique personality created countless memories that her family will treasure for years to come. Though she is deeply missed, her memory will live on through the family she loved so dearly and the many lives she touched throughout her 84 years.

Rest in peace, Mary Grace. Your love, and cherished memories will echo in our hearts forever.
