Morgan L. “Jake” Prigg, 90, of Canton Township, PA, passed away at 5:18 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Kadima Nursing Home in Washington.

Jake was born on February 23, 1936, in Washington, PA, son of the late William L. Prigg, Sr., and Ada (Milliren) Prigg.

He was a 1954 graduate of Trinity High School and went on to work as a bus driver, a CDL driver, and mechanic; his primary occupation was operating the Prigg family farm.

Jake was a member of the Fourth Presbyterian Church in Washington.

He loved farming, tractors - specifically his David Brown tractor; spending time with his favorite dog, Puppy Dog, and his beloved cat, Ma Pussycat.

Jake relished family time, playing cards with his nephew on the weekends, going to tractor pulls at the fairgrounds and the Apple Festivals in Hickory. He was a known to his loved ones as a “jack of all trades”.

In addition to his parents, Jake is preceded in death by brothers Donald Prigg and William Prigg, Jr., and sisters Ruth Prigg and Mary “Matilda” Prigg.

He is survived by a large, loving family of cherished nieces and nephews; Charles Prigg Sr., Tom Prigg (Vickie) David Prigg ( Bonnie), Susan Prigg and Sandy Prigg (Bob), Robin Breckons, Cindy Killinger, Joey (Peggy) Mego, Pam Snyder; great nieces and nephews: Charles Prigg Jr., Charlie Nelson, Matt Nelson, Essence Conklin, Ruthie (Ralph) Scott, Christy (Chris) Hart, Steven Snyder, Brittany Campbell; and great-great nieces and nephews: Eleanor Ray, Leviathan Nelson, Mabel Nelson, Neil Campbell.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
