Nancy Bell Hoy, 82, of Washington, died November 1, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born August 10, 1939, in Washington, the daughter of the late Harry and Fame Iseman Bell. Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Trinity High School and a homemaker. She was a life-long member of First Christian Church of Washington, Worthy Advisor of the Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star, sang in her church choir, with the Washington Symphony Orchestra, and for many funerals and weddings. She enjoyed dart ball and traveling. Her family was her most important priority. On February 2, 1957, Nancy married Jack Hoy, who died August 19, 1994. Nancy is survived by sons Mark (Joan) Hoy, of Washington, and Keith Hoy (Roberta Hendrick), of Washington; daughters, Holly (James) Kearns, of Avella, and Jacqueline Hoy-Stock, of Washington; sister, Darla (Frank) Hess, of Washington; grandchildren, Justin, Dylan, Dakota, Brian II, Danielle, Nathan, and Erin Hoy, Sara Zrimsek, Lance, Katie, and Courtney Kearns, Jax and Xane Stock; and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Brian Hoy; grandson, Brandon Hoy; and granddaughter, Amanda Sonson. Family and friends will be received Friday, November 5, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. There will be an additional viewing Saturday, November 6, from 11am – 12pm, the time of service, in First Christian Church of Washington, 615 E. Beau Street, Washington, with Lance Kearns officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington, PA 15301.
