Oscar Eugene Miller, 79, of West Alexander, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in his home with his loved ones by his side.

He was born September 28, 1946, in Washington, the son of the late George A. Miller and Mary Louise Meloy Miller.

Oscar was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School.

He served in the U.S. Marines.

Oscar took immense pride in working and caring for his farm, and was also an auctioneer. He was employed at Giant Eagle as a meat cutter for 20 years. He previously worked at McGraw-Edison and Swarts as a bus driver.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Claysville.

Oscar enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Buttons and Bows Club, playing dartball, hunting, fishing, canning food, watching Westerns, football and cooking. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

On November 19, 1965, he married JoAnn Kolano Miller, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Michael (Tracey) Miller; two daughters, Michelle (fiancé Kenny Main) Miller and AnnMarie (John) Miller Shoup; five siblings, Harold (Darlene) Miller, Cathy McVay, Graham (companion Vivian Kita) Miller , Donna (Bill) Snyder, and Ellen (Alan) Fleissner; four grandchildren, Tiffany (Brian) Reed, Brandon (Kayla) Shoup, Angie Miller, and Robby Mastic; three great grandchildren, Hunter Reed, Emma Reed, and Raelynn Shoup; a brother-in-law, Joseph (Linda) Kolano, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

In addition to his parents, deceased are brothers-in-law, Donald Mounts and Bill McVay; a sister-in-law, Linda Miller.

Family and friends will be received from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A service will follow visitation at 5:30 p.m.
