Pamela Ganster Knowlson

Pamela Diane Ganster Knowlson, 66, of Washington, passed away surrounded by her family at 2:38 pm, on Tuesday February 16th, 2021 in the Washington Health System after a lengthy and valiant battle with COVID -19. Pam was born on August 24th, 1954 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Vernon and Martha Rush Reedy. On September 9th, 2020, she married her best friend Ken Knowlson, who survives. Pam worked for many years in various positions at the Washington Health System, most recently in the business office. She enjoyed visiting consignment shops, traveling, bicycling, and was a karaoke superstar. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Eric (Amber) Ganster, and Joe Ganster (Krystal Fritzsch), one daughter, Keri Ganster (Chad Wilson) and stepchildren Megan and Scott Knowlson. Grandsons, Maddix, Aydin, Jason, Julian, Devon, and Stuart. Granddaughters, Mackenzie, Alexa, and Alivia. Also surviving is her brother Barry Reedy and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are three brothers, Dennis, Willie, and Randy, and a nephew, Barry L. Reedy. Due to COVID restrictions, all services are private.
