Paul John Heckman

Paul John Heckman, 90, of Washington, died Saturday, January 12, 2019, in his home. He was born June 20, 1928, in Pittsburgh, a son of Paul Vincent Heckman and Aliene Walker Heckman. Mr. Heckman served in the Army from May 1946, until his honorable discharge in March 1948.  He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal (Japan). Mr. Heckman worked as a draftsman for Allegheny County. On October 8, 1996, he married Charlene Buresch, who died October 22, 2017. Surviving are two sons, Paul R.  (Marcia) Heckman of Pittsburgh and David (Mary Lynn) Heckman of Ambridge; three grandchildren, David A. Heckman, Lori (Doug) Fromlak and Shane Heckman; and three great-grandchildren, Ian, Courtney and Corbin.
