Raymond Wilson Anderson

Raymond Wilson Anderson 90, of Prosperity passed away on December 12, 2017 at the Donnell House. He was born June 25, 1927 in Waynesburg a son of the late Louis and Ada Anderson. Raymond served in the United States Army He was a truck driver for I Richmond Company for 20 years Raymond was a member of Upper Ten Mile Church. He enjoyed wood-crafting, fishing, camping and playing cards. On April 22, 1950 he married Betty Compton who survives. He is also survived by daughters, Betty (Edward, deceased) Shingle of West Alexander, Sharon (Bill) Wilson of West Alexander, Mary (Dan) Hathaway of Claysville, Jo Ann (Roger) Hull of Prosperity; brother Floyd Anderson of Washington; Eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; nine great- great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Thursday December 14, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm in the William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, where Services will be held Friday December 15, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Larry Deemer officiating. Burial to follow at the Upper Ten Mile Cemetery in Prosperity. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Donnell House, 10 Leet Street Washington, PA 15301 .
