Richard P. Cain

Richard P. Cain, 85, of Washington, died on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care. He was born on October 20, 1932, in Washington, a son of the late Paul and Lois Weaver Cain. He was a graduate of Washington High School. Mr. Cain was a Captain for the City of Washington Fire Department.  He retired in 1983, following 27 years of service. Richard also had worked for The Meadows Racetrack, and then as a bartender at the Pulaski Club for 16 years. He loved sports, and played semi professional basketball in a Greek basketball league under the alias name, Lou Demeres. On April 25, 1959, he married Mary E. Sensky, who died on July 18, 2010. Surviving are two sons, Richard B. “Rick” (Jodi) Cain, of Washington, and Jasin E. (Karen) Cain, of Bethel Park; two brothers, Michael L. (Connie) Cain, of Washington and Arley “Brent” (Judy) Cain, of Washington; a granddaughter, Katelyn Razvoza; two great grandchildren, Mary and Max; two nieces, Michelle Nutter and Brenda Anderson; and seven nephews, Robert Sensky, Eric Sensky, Kory Sensky, Chris Cain, Matt Cain, Mark Cain and Steve Cain. Deceased is a daughter, Cathy Razvoza, and a nephew, Brad Sensky. Friends will be received on Friday, July 20, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, July 21, 2018, with Rev. Ross Pryor officiating.
