Robert "Bob" E. Main

Robert E. “Bob” Main, 83, of Washington, passed away on September 27, 2022, in his home. He was born on August 20, 1939, in West Alexander, a son of the late Kenneth and Louise McCammon Main. Bob was a graduate of West Alexander High School. Mr. Main worked for thirty-seven years at Jessop Steel. He loved playing the fingerstyle guitar and curating his guitar collection, working outside in his yard, and he adored his dog, Allie. On April 13, 1959, he married Loretta Jean Vanatta, who passed away on July 11, 2022. Surviving are a son, Bob (Dee) Main, of Pataskala, Ohio; a daughter, Lisa Main, of Washington; two grandchildren, Dalton Main and Brenna (Daniel) Pastorius; a great grandson, Blake Pastorius; a great granddaughter, Rowen Pastorius; and a cousin, who was like a sister, Beth McCammon. All services were private, and held at the convenience of the family.
