Rosalind Jean Orr

Rosalind Jean Orr, 97, of Washington, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, in Paramount Senior Living, Canonsburg.

She was born July 26, 1927, in Rimersburg, a daughter of the late C. Warden Stewart and Edna Mary Hartman.

Rosalind attended Union Joint High School in Rimersburg and graduated from a commercial college with a business degree.

She retired from PNC Bank, after working for over 50 years as a bank teller.

Rosalind was a member of the Church of the Covenant in Washington.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and helping the homeless. She was a seamstress for many of her neighbors.

On August 26, 1954, she married Harold Harvey Orr, who passed away November 15, 2007.

Surviving are a son, John S. Orr; two daughters, Mary L. (Jerald) King and Rebecca (Thomas) Potter; and two grandchildren, Susanna (Eric) Foglia and Lillian J. Potter.

Deceased are two sisters, Corinne Heckler and Joan Whited.

Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Thursday, May 1, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Interment will be private in Mt. Prospect Cemetery.
