Rosslyn Zebrasky

Rosslyn Wheatley Zebrasky, 86, passed away on May 21, 2025, at 11:52 a.m., in Southmont SeniorCare.

She was born on March 22, 1939, in Washington, the only child of Lorena Pattison Wheatley and Ross Criswell Wheatley.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was an infant son.

Rosslyn was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School, where she met the love of her life Frank “Zeke” Zebrasky. They shared nearly 70 years of marriage.

After graduation she worked in the office of Washington High School Athletic Department, prior to raising her family. She worked for years as a ticket taker for all home football and basketball games.

Rosslyn was affectionately known as “Roz” or “Rozzie,” but nothing gave her greater joy than her role as “Mama.” She was a true homemaker in every way and a matriarch of her family, caring for everyone and loving them each unconditionally.

Mama was an avid sports fan and a lifelong supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Washington High School. She followed her children and grandchildren throughout their sports and academic careers without missing a game! She served as a coach, score keeper and mentor to various teams throughout the years in the Washington Youth Baseball and Softball programs.

Rosslyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Frank Zebrasky; son Frank R. (Kelley) Zebrasky; daughter Marsha Jo (Guadalupe Reyes) Zebrasky; grandchildren Zachary (Leah) Zebrasky and Zane (Sasha) Zebrasky; and great-grandchildren Jack Ross, Zane James (ZJ), Luciana (Lucy) Rose and Zia Rose; and a great-grandchild expected in November. Additionally, she leaves behind her bonus family members Bob and Milana Redlinger and children.

The family would like to thank very special caregivers from Southmont SeniorCare, Gateway Hospice, and Visiting Angels for the excellent care she received.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in her memory to Gateway Hospice, 601 Gateway Drive, Suite 120, Canonsburg, PA 15317.

Family and friends will be received from 3 p.m.to 6 p.m., the hour of service, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue.
