Scott David McWee

Scott David McWee, 53, of Washington, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, in UPMC Washington.

He was born on May 9, 1972, in Washington, a son of the late David L. McWee and Darlene F. Reeb McWee.

Scott attended Washington High School and completed his GED studies.

He worked in transportation as a CDL driver, working as part of “McWee ‘n Sons.”

Scott participated in 4-H as a leader. He loved playing cards, especially poker, gaming, particularly Warcraft, travel, and horses and farm animals.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Parkinson McWee, whom he married on July 15, 1995.

Also surviving are sons David S. McWee (Shayna) and Dakota W. McWee; a treasured cousin, Johnny (Liz) Filby, who was like a brother to him; and many friends who were as close as family.

In addition to his parents, Scott is preceded in death by an unnamed, but loved, stillborn baby brother.
