Sharon Marie Caldwell

Sharon Marie Caldwell, 78, of Claysville, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Born on August 28, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Doris Clemens Rogers.

Sharon was a 1965 graduate of McGuffey High School.

On September 5, 1965, she married her beloved husband of 60 years, Samuel Caldwell, who survives.

Sharon was a devoted member of over 50 years to the Church of Christ in Washington.

She loved playing cards, one of her favorite activities was getting together with her card club and playing with her friends. Most of all, Sharon loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Janice (James) Carroll and Cathy (Cherneise Wilson) Caldwell; three brothers, Kenneth (Ruby) Rogers, Timothy Rogers, and Jeffrey Rogers; two sisters, Nancy Rogers and Patricia Rogers; a grandchild, Heather (Josh) Hensley; three great-grandchildren, Aaron Hensley, Benjamin Hensley, and Jovie Hensley; and also many nieces and nephews.

Sharon is also preceded in death along with her parents by a brother, Daniel Rogers.

Friends and family are welcome on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 11 a.m. Internment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
